Inspired by Frank Jackson's "What Mary Didn't Know", I wanted to capture the feeling he describes of experiencing the color red for the first time in Mary's black-and-white world.
I love this acrylic painting, and it captures an interesting perspective in this collection. This piece is Frank Jackson's way of refuting materialism, which made it a piece that interested me while reading it. This story stuck with me, so I wanted to give it my own personal funny twist.
