I felt like this piece was an important part of my journey with it being the 2nd last piece of this portfolio. "Rejoining" is an oil painting that explores the relationship between the self and something beyond it. Within my metaphysical work, I'm drawn to the idea that what we perceive as an individual is only temporary, and that our energy returns to a larger whole.
