"Unfinished Offering" came from the desperation to be seen before disappearing completely.

The reaching figure is searching for connection, for recognition, and for some sense of belonging. There is a yearning in the gesture, almost like a final attempt to reach another person before the darkness takes over.

For me, the fear in this piece is the idea of slowly fading into the background of other people’s lives. Of wanting so badly to be understood, chosen, or held onto, while feeling yourself become less and less visible. The figure is still reaching because some part of them still hopes to be found.

The fear is that no one reaches back.
